We are always looking for the right people to join our teams for periods of 3 months to 2 years. Whether or not you see an appropriate vacancy below, if you feel you may be called to Community life, please send us a CV and/or a general application form, and we'll tell you what we have.
All Community members also take an active part in the worship, creative and serving aspects of our life. They are "volunteers" because they receive full board, accommodation and an allowance - not a traditional salary. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with a desire to serve God.

Chef Working with and deputising for the Catering Manager, you will ensure that meals are produced to high standards. You must be patient, approachable and able to work within and motivate a team which includes people from overseas. We're looking for someone with relevant qualifications and/or experience.

Catering Assistants We are URGENTLY looking for people with all levels of catering experience to work with our Kitchen Team. If you have no experience, training can be given. You will be involved with all aspects of producing high quality meals for up to 150 guests and Community, working in a dynamic international team.

Youth & Children's Team member Are you passionate about helping children and young people grow closer to God? We'd love to hear from experienced youth workers as well as those we can train. Our Youth and Children's Team work with guests from 2 to 16 years old. The work also involves contact with local schools and planning and leading sessions for Community children. Team members with an NVQ Level 2 or above in Baby & Child Care are needed to work with the younger guests and community children.

Shop Manager To join the Lee Abbey Community. This is a part-time role linked with another Lee Abbey team to suit the giftings of the successful applicant. The applicant will need to be well-organised and have suitable retail experience.

The Beacon Youth & Outdoor Activity Centre is seeking people to join the team. If you have a passion for working with young people, enjoy outdoor activities and want to share your faith in meaningful and creative ways, this could be for you! We offer full training. We are seeking an Administrator to act as PA to the Beacon Manager and to cover the reception area amongst other duties as part of a team at the Beacon Outdoor Actiivity Centre.

Gardener The Lee Abbey Estate is looking for a Gardener, to have a particular role in looking after the maintenance of the extensive ornamental gardens including new planting work. Previous experience of pruning and weeding is therefore essential. A wide variety of other Estate tasks will be involved as well.

Marketing Manager We seek a dynamic and creative Marketing Manager to be part of the Community for 3 years. You will be responsible for marketing strategy, communicating our vision, promotional campaigns, website, exhibitions, advertising, monitoring sales etc. You will have excellent communication and copy-writing skills, organisational ability, IT skills, flexibility, enthusiasm and creativity.
