With its beginnings as far back as 1850, and continual ongoing refurbishment, the House is a great mix of traditional and brand new.

The range of bedrooms includes singles, twins, doubles, triples and a four-bed family room. Each room is simply and tastefully furnished with at least a chair, wardrobe, wash basin and bedside table. All rooms are made up for your arrival and bedding is provided.

A number of our rooms offer spectacular views down to Lee Bay or look out over other parts of our estate.
Some of our rooms now have en suite facilities (pictured right), with a toilet and shower. We continually renovate and upgrade guest accommodation to maintain a high modern standard, and part of this programme includes the conversion of existing rooms to en suites.
The Octagonal Lounge (left) is the main location for teaching sessions, worship and celebration, international entertainment, film nights, quizzes and more.
The Chapel, in the north end of the house, offers a more intimate setting for worship, contemplation and small group activities.
At the end of each day, the Chapel often hosts a short night prayer or reflection with quiet music and readings.
The Library has a large selection of Christian books, ranging from those just printed to wisdom decades old. It also has a gorgeous panoramic view to admire from its front-facing bay window!
One of many places around the house to enjoy, the walls of the Picture Gallery are adorned with artwork and photographs by community members and guests of Lee Abbey, both present and past.
For sitting by the fire, chatting, reading or playing board games, there is no better place than the Small Lounge of an afternoon or evening.
Under 5s can enjoy hours of fun in our fabulously colourful playroom, supervised by members of our dedicated Youth and Children's Team during selected session times.
The Preston Room is part of our new Youth and Children's Suite (the first element of the Towards Tomorrow Project). This is the base for our young people and children's sessions for 2 to 16 year olds.
