Dear [your friend's name],
[Your name] has just visited the website of Lee Abbey, a Christian conference, retreat and holiday centre in North Devon, and wanted to let you know about this particular programme:
-----
THE FIRST INTERNATIONAL LYFE FORUM: ‘A RESIDENTS GUIDE TO THE KINGDOM OF GOD’
8 to 12 October 2012 (Mon–Fri)
Is the renewal of individuals, churches and nations
possible in our lifetime? At this first international conference for a new generation of leaders, we will be seeking God to equip us with a balanced vision and a practical strategy for change — personally, locally and globally. Drawing on the insights of individuals like Richard Foster and Dallas Willard, this unique event will gather people wanting to become more like Jesus and see a generous orthodoxy at work in society. At this TED-style forum, your involvement is important. We want to learn from your experience and what you believe God may be saying to his people today. Teaching and worship will take place, but the focus is on dynamic interaction between participants, culminating in a call to both the church and society to find a new way to listen to each other. Resources on a deeper life with God and engaging with contemporary culture will be shared to take away and start using.
Price: from £350 full board.
