Sessions for young people and children are available on almost every Lee Abbey programme.
The vision of our dedicated Youth & Children's Team is 'to be God's welcome to children and young people, by sharing his love and helping them to develop a living relationship with God, relevant to their daily lives.'
Filled with fun and activity, the Playroom is a fabulous place for 2-4 year olds visiting Lee Abbey!
The Playroom is open throughout the day for under-5s to use with their parents, and supervised sessions are run in the mornings during your stay. Sessions include time to play, build and make, along with Bible stories, songs and games.
Hey! If you're between 5 and 10 then we look forward to seeing you for some laughter, games and serious thinking! Our morning sessions are a mix of silly games, film clips, stories, discussion, thinking time and making stuff. We like to think that our God knows how to have some fun and that he doesn't mind us asking a few questions about him either...
OK, so you might think that you've heard everything there is to hear about anything important, but we're here to get you thinking. Our morning sessions are generally based around a film and through discussions and a bit of Bible study (along with some very silly games) we ponder the big questions of life, like "Why does God let bad stuff happen?", or "What does it mean to have faith?". Questions like "What kind of superhero is Jesus?", and of course the hotly debated "Which side of a chocolate digestive really is the top?"
Afternoons are time for family and friends! Depending on the weather and the programme we offer additional activities such as craft workshops, archery, low ropes sessions, cooperative games and even some serious stuff for grown ups!
Lee Abbey seeks to include everyone, including those with special needs. Please indicate any requirements on the registration form; we may need to discuss these further with you by phone. Sadly we are not able to guarantee one-to-one support.

To take part in the sessions it is essential to complete a pre-registration form. Download it here if you have lost the one we sent with your booking confirmation!
Places on the Youth and Children’s sessions are limited and registration is not automatic. You will be sent registration forms with your booking confirmation which must be returned as soon as possible. Forms will be considered on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. Once limits have been reached, we cannot accept further children or young people but will write to let you know if this happens.
Lee Abbey cannot guarantee to provide sessions and reserves the right to withdraw cover where appropriate resources are not available. We are restricted by law to a maximum of 2 hours per day for under-8s. You are responsible for your child at all times during your stay. All under-18s must be booked in with an adult.
